A Colorful Memories: Mued 116 class with the Kalinga Day Care Center and the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice

The Mued 116 class with the Kalinga Day Care Center and the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice joined together for Colorful Memories, a performance which honors the passing of loved ones. Held last October 19, 2016, this program was a culmination of 3 months of teaching, one year of production planning, involving a new collaboration between KDCC and PHSOP, with more than 200 performers. The story was about Mico, a young boy who had to journey through loss of his beloved Lolo, and acceptance by visiting each colorful memory. Each class presented a moment in Mico’s life with vibrant costumes and expressive music. From a lullaby, to a song about Loving to Play, each piece creatively showcased both the talent of the teachers and performers. The Finale, or “True Colors” performed by the teachers was a tapestry of the embodiment of musical creativity in all forms: Song, Art, Instrument, and Dance."
