Anna Patricia Rodriguez-Carranza currently handles preschool music education and instrumental ensemble courses at the UP College of Music, Music Education Department. She has a BM Music Education, magna cum laude, from the same university (2011). She currently sits on the board of the Philippine Society for Music Education. As an educator, she has taught music in various settings, both private and government funded, spanning from preschool to college. Apart from teaching students, she has also given workshops to music educators, in cooperation with the Department of Education, and has written music modules for the K-12 Music Curriculum implementation. Aside from music education, she also delves into research in ethnomusicology (Dictionary of Filipino Terms, UPCE, 2013) and anthropology in early childhood education. She is finishing her Master of Music degree at the same university, with a research on the undergraduate music curriculum of the University of the Philippines for the last century.
