    GERALDINE MARIE B. GONZALES, PIANIST, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree Major in Piano with Magna cum Laude Honors from the UP College of Music. Graduating as Class Valedictorian, she was awarded the Dean's Medal for the highest scholastic achievement and was one of the Top Ten Honor Graduates of UP Diliman in 1994. She was selected as one of the Most Outstanding Seniors by the Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society and was inducted into its membership. In 1995, she was chosen as Finalist in the Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP). For her bachelor's degree she studied under Prof. Augusto Espino and was awarded the Rosario Lopez Garcia (ROLOGAR) Foundation Piano Scholarship. Aside from consistently garnering a consistent grade of 1.0 in her major, she won 1" Prizes in the Senior Division of the 1987 CPMP Piano Competition and the 1990 Mozart Piano Sonata Competition, as well as Honorable Mention in the 1992 UP Piano Competition. Ms. Gonzales completed her Master's Degree also from UP under internationally multi-awarded Filipino concert pianist Prof. Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz. She has performed as soloist, assisting artist and duo-pianist in performances at UP, CCP, Paco Park Presents, Siliman University and University of Asia and the Pacific among others. She recently published an article in the Humanities Diliman, the official journal for the arts at UP, this 2002. She is at present an Assistant Professor of piano at the UP College of Music.
