The UP Center for Ethnomusicology has been a central resource of archive and library materials pertinent to music research and ethnomusicological studies. The Center is home to the Jose Maceda Collection, a significant heritage site of preservation inscribed in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register in August 2007. Located on the second floor of the Jose Maceda Hall of the U.P. College of Music, the Center has continued to establish international linkages with institutions and scholars under the administration of the UP Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development.
