Luci Abakan Magalit graduated summa cum laude from the UP College of Music where she now teaches Piano, Piano Literature, Score Reading, and Music Theory. She has represented the country in international competitions and has performed in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Viet Nam, and the US. She has performed piano concertos with the FilharmoniKa, the Metro Manila Community Orchestra, the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra, the UP Centennial Orchestra, and the UP College of Music Centennial Orchestra. She is actively involved in the performance of New Music. She served as pianist for 25 years and Choir Director for 10 years at Diliman Bible Church in Quezon City.
