Albert Napoleon J. Roldan works as a resident pianist at the University of the Philippines College of Music. He finished his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, magna cum laude at the same school, and completed his Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Temple University, Philadelphia, U.S.A. His other occupations include being a consultant for the Department of Education and an author under Rex Publishing House. His publications are the following:

As a musician, he has performed extensively in concerts and recitals. He has collaborated with three orchestras, one of them the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. Albert was also a prize-winner in several music competitions in the past, such as the NAMCYA (National Music Competitions for Young Artists). He has also worked as an official accompanist and adjudicator for the NAMCYA. He was featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer (2002), on AM radio (DZUP), GMA News (2011), and on national television (PTV 4). In 2014, he successfully launched a summer music camp for different instruments at Antipolo, Rizal, a first in that city. An educational concert series for elementary and high school children featuring a full orchestra with piano was also begun in 2015 through his initiative.
As a Christian, he has an advocacy for nation building through music, holding benefit concerts for public schools, orphanages, churches, and retirement homes. He began this since the age of 13, when he made his first public solo performance at GCF Ortigas. He has also been in the preaching ministry, serving in his local church since 2014.
